IT’S SUMMER!!

That means we are actively purchasing a lot of local produce for our fresh delicious salads, sandwiches, soups and omelets made with local organic eggs from The Country Hen. We have been receiving some great local organic produce from Red Fire Farm in Granby. Our Salads this week included fresh local organic lettuce, spinach and beautiful red radishes. We picked up some local Southampton grown Blueberries at the Florence Farmer’s Market recently and those will be in our fresh fruit cups and bowls and of course… those Blueberry Pancakes. We ‘re also getting some great local blueberries from Westfield.  Up until just last week, we’d been making twice weekly trips to Hadley’s Alligator Brook Farm for their delicious asparagus. We’ll miss that local asparagus. Keep us in mind this summer, knowing that we’ll be doubling our efforts to continue to add lots of local ingredients to our menus. Local tomatoes can’t be too far off!!
